WASHINGTON -- Pfizer Inc. said Monday it will not pay a $3 billionfine for an alleged illegal marketing of the drug Viagra, which it alleges was improperly promoted in the U. S. by some members of its family.
The company will pay $3 billion to resolve the allegations, and will begin testing its drugs in the U. in the fall of 2015.
